Steel Import Data of Korea in January

Showing from Steel Association in Korea, in january, 2016 Korea has imported about 1.9 million tons steel products, which has 0.1%'s down comparing with last Jan. Besides, the import quantity is still higher than Dec, 2015 by 1.4%.

China is still the main country to export steel products to Korea, in Jan China has exported 1.2 million tons steel products to Korea, which is about 60% of the total import quantity of Korea. Among the data, Korea has imported 320000 tons hot rolled steel plates from China, with an increase of 0.6% comparing with Jan, 2015. Besides, Korea has imported about 77000tons steel rebar from China, the rising percent reached 53% comparing with Jan, 2015.
