Import for Steel Produccts of Pakistan Has Been Raised in Jan, 2018

Showing from the collected data from Pakistan Customs, the import for steel products from abroad in Pakistan has reached 0.34 million tons in Jan, which got 20%'s rising than last Jan.

Though the government has published the anti-dumping policy and collected tariff on CR coils, galvanized steels and sections with origin of China, the steel products import quantity had still a rising in 2017. One is because the demand in Pakistan is increasing while demastic output is far away from the demand, another one reason is after the anti-dumping duty, the price for import is still competitive compared with demastic price.
