Steel Export from China Has Gotten a Big Down in First Quarter of 2017
Data from China Steel Association shows from Jan to Mar in 2017, China has exported 21 million tons steels. which has a down about 25% comparing with same period in 2016. Among that 5.8 million tons steels has been exported in Feb, this is already the lowest point in the history since Feb, 2014. The export for steels has been kept reducing for 8 months since Aug, 2016 year on year. Meanwhile, from Jan to Mar China has imported 3.5 million tons steels, which is rised by 11.3% year on year. It is known that one reason for reduction of steel export is more strict trade protect from some countries, and along with price rising matter in China, steel enterprises focus less in overseas sales.
