This steel plate undergoes a rigorous quenching and tempering heat treatment process, ensuring exceptional mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. With its unique combination of chemical composition, mechanical performance, and versatility, A517GrP/A517 Grade P stands as a premier choice for demanding industries worldwide.

Chemical Composition:

The A517GrP/A517 Grade P steel plate boasts a carefully balanced chemical composition that contributes to its exceptional performance. The key elements and their respective ranges are as follows:

- Carbon (C): 0.15-0.21%

- Silicon (Si): 0.4-0.8%

- Manganese (Mn): 0.8-1.1%

- Phosphorus (P): ≤0.035%

- Sulfur (S): ≤0.035%

- Chromium (Cr): 0.5-0.8%

- Molybdenum (Mo): 0.18-0.28%

- Boron (B): ≤0.0025%

- Zirconium (Zr): 0.05-0.15%

This composition enables the steel to achieve superior strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance.

Mechanical Properties:

Heat Treatment State:

The A517GrP/A517 Grade P steel plate undergoes a precise quenching and tempering heat treatment process. The plate is heated to a temperature not less than 900°C, followed by quenching in water or oil. It is then tempered at a temperature not less than 620°C, ensuring optimal strength and toughness.
