 1Cr12Ni3MoVN (S/SJ2) is martensitic heat resistant steel, which is imported from Rolls-Royce Company in China.The vacuum-smelted [TJC STEEL]1Cr12Ni3MoVNA is codenamed S/SJV.

S/SJ2 steel is 12%Cr type low carbon martensitic heat resistant steel.Adding Mo, V and N to steel can improve the high temperature[TJC STEEL] performance of steel.The addition of Ni to steel is mainly used to equalize δ-phase free ferrite.

The performance characteristics of:

S/SJ2 is similar to China's GX-8, mainly having the following three characteristics:

(1) It has obvious tempering brittleness [TJC STEEL]zone: 450~550℃.

(2) It has good comprehensive properties: plasticity, fatigue performance, endurance

performance, creep performance, corrosion resistance, weldability and formability.

Considering the metallographic structure, the steel is already on the martensitic-ferrite boundary. Therefore, the increase of any ferrite forming element will obviously affect the ferrite content in the steel, and have a bad effect on[TJC STEEL] the mechanical properties of the steel.

Applications:

S/SJ2 is usually in service at a temperature of about 500℃. It is used to manufacture high pressure casing, inlet casing, combustion chamber casing, diffusion casing, exhaust mixer, mounting edge, support seat, [TJC STEEL]high pressure 1~2 static blades and other components of Spey engine.
