Stagnation for Steel Lead to Output Over Capacity Long- Standing
| The big problem for steel industry in China is excess capacity of steel products. Showing from data, China has imported 0.04 billion tons iron ore, it is predicted that the no will be 1 billion bons in 2015. At the same time, the output for crude steel is more than 0.82 billion tons, has 1.67%’s rising on basis of year on year. According to statistical data from relevant institution, the output for curde steel actually is near with 1.2 billion tons.
Though the output is high, the demand for steel in China has a 2.25%’s reduction comparing with the same period in 2013. Obviously it will be a long term and hard work to adjust the condition of over capacity with increasing output and decreasing demand in China. |
